Everything was very easy to set up except for my wireless router settings. Sling tech walked me right through that and I am very pleased with my Slingbox. I get all the channels remotely that I get at home.

Sling Media is happy to announce that its current SlingPlayer PC software (a free download that can be found at http://us.slingmedia.com/page/slingplayer.html is compatible with Microsofts just-released Windows Vista operating system. New and existing Slingbox customers (TUNER, AV, PRO and Classic) who own a Windows Vista PC (Desktop or Laptop) will be able to enjoy all the same benefits the SlingPlayer software has to offer on Windows 2000 and Windows XP-based systems. Sling Media has been working with Microsoft closely to ensure compatibility well in advance of the release of the Windows Vista OS.

Sling Media has also been working with Microsoft to deliver an optimized version of the SlingPlayer PC software that takes advantage of specific new features that can only be found on the Windows Vista OS.
