1. The sidebar, the transparency of the start and title bars, and the improved task manager are all sweet. You name it, it has been improved since XP. There are thousands of downloads to add almost anything to the sidebar, so it helps you personalize your computer, and adds a nice touch visually and funtionally. there are too many slightly different but much better changes to put into a review.

2.OK, here is what I have seen: I have both a laptop and a desktop and I put a copy of vista on each. My laptop has 1 gig of ram , go7400, and a single core intel proc. I installed it (20gigs of space) and booted it up, and everything runs flawless. HL2, bf2, WoW, CS:S, etc. with no frame rate loss. I was so amazed that I bought it for my desktop too. I installed vista on my AMD x2 3800, 2gigs of ram, 160 gig RAID 0, 8800gts computer just fine. I am happy to say that Vista installs on RAID without a complaint. Even more, it only took up 10 gigs of space, and it's the same version (my laptop used 20 for some reason). It even installed and set up my network connection and works fine with my other winxp computers. I also have an Audigy 2 sound card and that works great too. All of my games on the desktop run great, for the most part, on vista also (HL2, CS:S bf2, WoW, C&C3 demo, etc). My favorite part about vista is how much better is runs and feels.
